Crying in public and Forgery.

Crying in public and forgery....

I have discovered as of late that these are 2 VERY important life skills to have.

So here is the story...

My laptop recently decided to stop working. Hubby and I took it to a large electronics store.
We were told that it was going to cost 150$$ to fix the issue. After discussing why the hell I bought a warranty the employee figured out a way for me to circumvent the fees and only spend 49.99. OK I may have started crying because we couldn't afford to pay 150$ to fix a PC I paid for a warranty for.
We didn't have the external hard drive with us to back it up, so I had to go back again. Today....

I got some bad news on the way to the big electronics store today which proved very useful.
I was with a good friend of mine and we headed into the store with the lap top and the Ext hard drive.
We waited in line and finally got to the counter. I explained to the guy what we were told and what I needed done. He preceded to tell me it would cost 150$ to send it out for a MONTH!!. he also would not show me the price chart.... SHADY.
The I finally got so frustrated I started crying. ;)
the customer service guy said he could not help me. Crying ensued. I was honestly frustrated at this point.
The crying had obviously rattled the guy so... I kept crying. Not obnoxiously, just quietly. he went to talk to his manager and 2 minutes later.... all would be fixed for 49.99$$.
OK did I take advantage of the poor guy. ?.? HELL NO
They told me they would fix it for that price and I was getting what was promised!!
Were in a recession dammit!!
I also bought a 300$ warranty why??
So ladies the lesson for today. Tears can sometimes be used for good ;)

FORGERY

People charge for outrageous crap these days.
EVERY TIME I need my Doctor to sign anything or release a form it costs me $50.00.

After having the Pulmonary Embolism this summer and my anxiety issues I have needed to get forms released and filled out at different times.
I am going BROKE with this shit!!.
My friend and I developed a plan today....

If I was to just get a folding chair and a tray table and set it up down the hall from the office, I could charge $35 for a signature and everyone would win..;)

OK I'm just kidding about the actual forgery but it would save me some hella cash.
I am eagerly anticipating the forms I need filled out for the USMC exceptional family member program. Wonder how much that will cost. UGH!!

So what have we learned today....

1.) Crying in public just may sometimes be the means to an end.

2.) Find a doctor who stamps things instead of signing them.
Then steal the stamp.

bye for now......

  1. lol I think you should give acting lessons.
Hey, you could even charge for them. One more way to make some extra money.
Of course you will give them to me for free since I came up with the idea. :o)
